Earned Recognition Pilot

Aquarius IT are proud to support the DVSA’s Earned Recognition pilot. This voluntary scheme has been designed to recognise operators who show high standards of compliance and as such the DVSA are encouraging fleet operators of all sizes to sign up and take part.

The project is aimed at reducing operator downtime and roadside checks which in turn allows a better focus on high risk operators. DVSA representatives suggest that benefits to the operator will be in the form of:
• Reducing the burden of enforcement activities
• appearing on a published list on the gov.uk website
• having the confidence that their management system is continually monitoring compliance
• having the opportunity to use the DVSA ER marque on their documentation and website

In order to get involved operators must have:
• held an operator’s licence for at least 2 years
• had no regulatory action by a Traffic Commissioner for at least 2 years, other than warnings
• an electronic management systems for maintenance and drivers’ hours which can track your KPIs and report exceptions automatically

Auditing standards must also be met in order to take part in the pilot, for which self-assessment forms require completion before an audit is arranged and paid for.
Are you interested in signing up for the pilot? Call the team on 0330 333 8789 and we will be happy to take you through the first stages of the process.
